The massage and spa were great, yet the room was accessed by stairs, there were no screens on the windows, the safety deposit box was broken, and the breakfast was decent but not high‑quality.

The entire staff were courteous and willing to accommodate requests, the buffet breakfast covered all needs, the dinner featured excellent dishes and the chef received praise; the venue was generally quiet, close to the center and other attractions, and the trip up Montecatini Alto via funicular was lovely, except for the confusion at breakfast caused by the large number of people, presumably from the adjacent annex.
