The hotel was completely renovated, spotless, and the breakfast was tasty and served right in the room; the location is perfect, within walking distance of the major sights. The cleanliness, good breakfast, new beds, and helpful staff were all easy to find.

The room was very comfortable. I was never quite sure whether the items we had ordered for breakfast the previous day were the ones we received, but it was such a minor issue that we didn't mind since we still had a good breakfast; like most places in Brazil, if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs.

The facilities and room cleanliness were good. At the front desk there was no change to give me, so I had to accept a water bottle as change that I didn't even need; they tried to charge me a tax outside of Booking, which was very disappointing because Booking already includes the taxes.
