Personnel were welcoming when I arrived, the premises were fairly clean, breakfast was included, and the location is great. The dorm on the 9th floor isn’t convenient with luggage, and a dorm billed as “mixed” only had men, which didn’t feel very secure.

The location, facilities, cleanliness, comfy beds, ample clean bathrooms, and the interesting history are all great, plus the breakfast is awesome. There’s no curtain for each bed, so privacy is lacking and the light can disturb others.

The bed was clean and comfy and breakfast was hearty. The AC stayed at 19 °C all the time, no remote in the room, so it was always chilly; we were given an extra quilt instead of a remote to tweak the temperature.
