“Great visit, would highly recommend.”
The property was very quiet and remote, the perfect spot to switch off. The heated floors in the bathroom were fabulous, and the room was warm and cosy after a day of walking. Richard was lovely—informative, friendly, welcoming—and he made a superb breakfast and packed lunch. Every small detail was considered: pre‑arrival contact and instructions, tea and coffee facilities in the room, snacks, fresh milk and juice in the fridge, and a folder of local info. The duvet wasn’t very cosy, and the driveway gate was a bit of a faff for a solo traveller.

The owner gave clear instructions and recommendations, and there was a free parking spot. The rooms were clean and modern, and the big breakfast included a tea/coffee selection in the room. It was easy to find and a really nice place to stay.
“Perfect for Three Peaks”
We booked this last minute when we changed our plans to do the Yorkshire Three Peaks, knowing it would be compact but the space is used very well. We wanted an early start, so we chose the packed lunch option, but there was still yogurt and cereal for breakfast before we left. The bunk beds aren’t overly comfortable, but they served their purpose.

Clean, comfy, great location!
This place is an absolute gem, situated in a brilliant spot near Ingleborough. The scenery is beautiful, the interior is clean and well equipped, and it’s super quiet at night. It’s the perfect spot for taking in the best of the Yorkshire Dales, and the host offered excellent local tips for walking routes and nearby cafés. Highly recommend.
