Getting there was a breeze straight off the train, and the happy hour was a real treat.

The room was clean and cozy, and the view over the harbour and bridge was amazing! We stayed on an upper floor and didn’t hear any train noise. I liked the coffee machine with daily capsule refills. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location near the train station and a short walk to the ferry made getting around Sydney a breeze. I’d definitely stay here again.

The concierge tried to be helpful, the view was nice, and the bed was comfortable. However, we had informed the hotel two weeks before our arrival that we would be bringing pets, and that request was ignored, causing check‑in to take over 45 minutes and forcing us into a lower‑floor room that was louder because of the trains running underneath; the train noise is constant and extremely loud. Breakfast was booked for one person, yet the concierge attempted to charge for two; we booked for two people but only one towel was provided in the room.

The view was undeniably stunning, especially for the family visiting from France; check‑in was smooth and the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the room was beautiful and spotless. The only downside was the whistling coming through the windows and the TV not picking up any channels, but that was a minor annoyance; we requested something that ended up being ignored, which didn’t matter much.
