Great location, lots of restaurants and shops nearby, but that's about it. The first room they gave me reeked of smoke and had ash in the drawer, so I asked for a change. The new room wasn't much better - the bathroom light was out and the shower was broken, but the staff just nodded and said yes without fixing anything. Not impressed.

The room was super clean and spacious, which was great. Only thing that put me off was the dark and a bit run-down corridor near the stairs at night - it was a bit spooky. Everything else was fine.

Horrible experience at this hotel - the water pressure was basically non-existent, making it impossible to wash properly. The corridors were super noisy at night, no soundproofing to speak of, so don't expect a good night's sleep. But the worst part was the attempted scam - they took a full payment upfront, claimed they didn't take it, and then tried to charge my credit card again after I'd already paid in cash, no receipt given.

It was a decent place to stop for a night, nice enough hotel, but we only stayed one night to break up our journey, so it suited our needs.
