I liked the location and the nostalgic vibe from my previous stay a few years ago, though it could use a touch of updating, and it was good value; the small Mr. Coffee maker used tiny Dixie cups, making it inefficient and unsafe for hot drinks, and one pillow was old and yellowed, so I tossed it.

It was close to the highway, perfect for a one‑night stay, and the owner was amazing and kind; however, the bathroom wasn’t super clean and the room smelled “old.”
