The location is great, close to the Arc de Triomphe, and next to Besheng where you can rent an electric bike. The Chinese guy at the shop is solid and honest—highly recommend biking around Vientiane; it’s super convenient and you won’t run into police. There’s a high‑speed train ticket office beside the hotel, and meals are easy to find. The view from the hotel is open and you can see the Mekong River, so I strongly suggest staying here. The front desk can speak Chinese fluently. The staff still need more training; they’re often chatting and joking around, and you’ll see them climbing on tables.
