Very warm welcome from host Pierre. The room is located in a beautiful country house on a lovely estate in a quiet setting. A good brasserie/restaurant about 10 minutes drive away, Le Bouche a Oreille. A simple but tasty breakfast was served.

The view from the building’s exterior, the park, and the host’s welcome at arrival. The total lack of hygiene and the unsanitary bathroom and bedroom, there were stains on the bedding, dust everywhere, and general dirt stains on the nightstand lamp, the bathroom window that you can’t close because of rust, a disgusting cup, a ripped floor mat… No way to sleep under such hygiene conditions… We left early in the morning exhausted by these conditions that cost us 98€, a rental in these conditions is an EMBARRASSMENT and yet we are very easygoing about rentals… The owner is pleasant but his rental is unacceptable… I do not recommend it at all.

Authentic French experience in the middle of beautiful countryside close to Paris. We enjoyed how unique it was and the convenience of catching the train into Paris or driving to Versailles. We also hired bikes 30 minutes away so the area really had lots to do. Pierre was so accommodating! We usually like having our own space and private kitchen but it was a nice change to bring some culture to the holiday.
