The staff were nice. I rarely post negative reviews, but our stay at Summit Grand Resort & Spa was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, especially for the price of a Deluxe room. First, the room was filthy when we arrived— the toilet looked and smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, which is unacceptable at any rate. The “Deluxe view” room was a joke; the shade was broken and, after asking TWICE, we only got a partial fix and ended up staring straight at an apartment building—no view at all, a clear case of false advertising. The jacuzzi/tub was barely hot before it turned cold, making it unusable. The hairdryer stopped after about a minute each time. The shower had almost no water pressure, making morning routines frustrating. I know standards vary by region, but we paid a premium and expected premium quality; these are basic hygiene and functionality problems, not regional quirks. The only bright spot was the staff, who were genuinely kind and friendly—hence the 1 star instead of zero. Management has a lot to improve. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.
