Amazing! This was my second visit to Kofu and it was fantastic. The hotel is a 10‑minute taxi ride from Kofu JR station or a 30‑minute walk. We booked a large room for eight, even though just the two of us stayed, and it was totally worth it. The space is huge, with an entry area that fits 4–5 suitcases. Try the soba restaurant; we had great dinners and breakfasts for two days. Day one’s breakfast was traditional Japanese with grilled fish and rice; the next day we asked for more Western options, both excellent. There’s a small fee for the onsen, but it’s worth it. It’s a very relaxing, quiet spot with an inner yard. We were very grateful!

The night and morning meals offered a wide variety and were very tasty. The location isn’t great because it’s in the city center.

The interior and staff were good. The shower in the bath didn’t get hot enough.
