A one‑year‑old hotel, a medium‑sized room, a nice basic spot for a night on the way to Jigo Island. The lobby café is pretty with a variety of cakes on the ground floor. Nothing to complain about. Perfect for the trip to Jigo Island.

I never imagined a hotel like this would exist in Haenam. It’s a motel that calls itself a hotel, yet it feels like a real hotel with no motel vibe at all. Opened in 2025, the facilities were solid, and there’s a Tous Les Jours coffee shop on the first floor of the hotel, so I could grab coffee every morning. Wi‑Fi worked well and the staff were friendly! The parking isn’t huge, but in Haenam you can park anywhere on the street without much trouble, so the small parking lot didn’t pose a problem. Breakfast was offered for 8,900 KRW, which is cheap, but the menu seemed to focus on bread and ramen, so I didn’t order anything extra. Since there were restaurants around the hotel, skipping breakfast wasn’t an issue.

The rooms were very modern and clean, and the bed was really comfortable. The tofu restaurant on the ground floor is also recommended. The person at the reception was unfortunately not very friendly and left a bad impression; instead of a greeting, I just got a “passport” remark. Too bad.
