The house was great and super comfortable; we even lit a fire at night and it felt cozy after a long day. The garden was perfect for morning coffee, and overall I would definitely recommend it and would return.

The kitchen and dining table made my family feel at home right away, the little red accents were charming, the winding stairs were fun and gave the house a storybook vibe, the water stream beside the house and the backyard swing were pure magic, and we enjoyed eating together at home. We also liked being able to do laundry. The plumbing is limited by the house’s age, so you have to throw tissues in the trash and not flush them, and even then you often need to flush several times. I wish the laundry key and location were listed in the welcome packet because it took us hours to find the laundry room. The check‑in instructions were the only thing I received.

“Séjour annulé par l'hôte”

When I arrived, I was hit with insects on the upper floor and there was no way to deal with it that night or the next. The place offered to cancel my stay, no fee, but offered nothing else in the same part of the island. On the bright side, the refund was processed quickly, though there was no compensation.

“We would stay there again”

The property was charming and comfortable, well‑located, fully equipped, and even had a small welcome pack for our two‑night stay. Communication was very good. The downside was that I couldn’t open the bathroom window and the toilet didn’t drain properly.
