The room was freezing. After complaining, it was a bit warmer the next evening. The showers were completely moldy and we had to pay an extra 200.- CHF for a “special cleaning” because they claimed the room smelled of smoke. Absolutely outrageous!

Location and breakfast were fine. The place is very noisy, there are no towels to dry hands or shower, and the toilets lack a hand‑drying option. The showers are partly moldy and the floor is very wet because there are no shower curtains.

The room cost 165 CHF for one night, far too expensive. It was very small, had only a tiny window, and no heating. When I arrived it was 16 °C. The very friendly lady at reception brought me an electric heater, but the room only had one outlet that was already taken by the nightstand lamp, so the young woman had to crawl under the bed to plug in a power strip and get the heater working. The showers were a floor below, and I had to get a towel separately from reception. There was no TV in the room. All in all, the room was at a youth hostel standard and therefore completely overpriced. I would not recommend it.
