My stay at the Grand Canyon tent site, just 20 miles from Grand Canyon Village, was a delightful adventure. The site was easy to find, with clear road signs and a warm, inviting light in the lobby. The campground had plenty of clean restrooms and comfortable beds, covering all the essentials. Although there was no electricity or heat, that added to the authentic outdoor feel. Overall, a fantastic base for exploring the Grand Canyon. However, the lack of electricity and heat, along with the high price, made it feel less worthwhile, even though it still contributed to the authenticity.

The tipi had its own unique style and character, set up with taste and good quality. Even on a cold night the chill wasn’t felt because the tipi was equipped with a warm blanket and a heater.

The property is amazing. The Tipi comes with everything you need, a warm blanket with heating and WiFi, and the view is beautiful. The owner’s dogs greeted us in the morning and were very friendly. The site is about 20 minutes from the Yellowstone entrance. It was truly an amazing experience and I hope we’ll return. There’s nothing else to add; everything was great.

“Very comfortable and unique place in a magical valley, close to the Madison River.”

Beautiful location! The owners are incredibly friendly and it feels like camping but it’s not camping at all. The only issue was that there was no way to heat up food.
