Cleanliness, large room.

The service, the rooms, and the breakfast were good. The pool and the wet area were not.

The breakfast menu offers a decent range, yet I noticed the absence of toasted bread and butter, essentials for Europeans, and the cheese selection is limited. Still, there’s plenty to choose from, the juices are tasty, and the staff—Lina, Paola, and others—are wonderfully accommodating, which offsets the shortcomings. I was assigned a room right below the gym and near a maintenance area that occasionally made noise, but it was only a brief issue. The hotel sits quite far south of downtown Cali, though it’s conveniently located if you’re heading to the universities.

The staff are friendly, the facilities are clean and efficient, and the restaurant is excellent. The spa is very efficient and offers great treatments. The pool is small, and the bar was not operational.
