The beds are comfortable, the coffee and tea are delicious, and the reception is friendly. They also serve a truly lovely breakfast. A mosquito net on the skylight would be useful; we were under the bumps and should have closed the window earlier, though we’re still not used to the darker evenings.

Anika and Yan hosted us perfectly. They let us eat in their kitchen and served well-prepared breakfasts. Everything was neat and tasteful. We enjoyed staying at their home.

I met Jan and Hanneke, who welcomed us and our dogs with open arms, and our pets even made friends with the hotel’s dogs, Sandy and Kees. The setting was calm and the breakfast was fantastic—perfect for anyone who loves nature and tranquility. The only drawback is the staircase, which can be a bit of a hassle if you’re getting older.
