The location is great for walking straight into the city center, and the staff were very friendly. There’s a secure parking spot just a short walk away for about Eur 10 a day. However, the building has no elevator, the mattress feels firm, and it’s noisy if you sleep with the window open. The bathrooms use disposable cups instead of glasses, which isn’t eco‑friendly.

The staff were extremely friendly and gave us great tips for dinner. We had a storage space for our bikes. The room was beautiful, unique, and the old‑house vibe was executed perfectly. The sound‑proof windows kept the street noise away even with the windows closed, and the air‑conditioning worked well. The breakfast was extraordinary and excellent. Every employee was eager to help and always friendly. This is the best hotel on our e‑bike tour, absolutely RECOMMENDABLE, and the walk to the old town is very short. Everything fit perfectly.

We made a great choice! This small, well‑maintained hotel is excellently run by Giuliana, who is smiling, knowledgeable, and a lover of the city, and she coordinates a very kind and welcoming female staff. We requested a room change and they did everything to accommodate us. The breakfast, besides being made of excellent products, is presented with elegance and pleasant surprises. The property is spotless, has nice quiet rooms, and is only a few hundred meters on foot from Udine’s center. There’s a convenient adjacent parking lot with reserved spots by reservation, essential for those arriving by car. We were very happy; the evening chats with Giuliana, a passionate admirer and scholar of Udine photographer Tina Modotti, further enriched our trip to Udine, a beautiful city still on the outskirts of mass tourism. Thanks to everyone and a pat to the old sage Tobia. We were very happy, our room was on the second floor without an elevator, but we were aware of that. The bathroom was a bit small and lacked a bidet, replaced by a shower. Small details that didn’t interfere with our enjoyment.
