“A nice peaceful place”
The hostel sits nicely in town. I had a twin room that looked modern and well‑maintained; the beds were very comfortable for me, and with two bathrooms and showers, wait times were minimal. There’s a well‑equipped kitchen on site and it’s easy to find. I’d recommend it. Like most hostels, cigarette smoking is hard to control. When guests leave doors and windows open while smoking, the smoke drifts into the building. Smoking is abhorrent to me, and even with a sign on the door, smokers don’t consider how their actions affect others’ health. The only thing the hostel could do is forbid smoking on the balcony and ask people to walk to the sidewalk, but I might be a rare person to ask this since so many smoke. Also, this is a note to guests: clean up after yourself in the kitchen. When you put pots in the fridge with your food, there’s one less pot for others to use. Be considerate of other sets.
