The venue is pretty, a nice conference spot, good breakfast, comfortable beds, elegant bathroom, and a pleasant castle atmosphere; I would have liked to arrive earlier to enjoy it more and maybe take a dip (extra cost…), and I slept long and enjoyed the surroundings. It’s very beautiful and nice. The price for the countryside is a bit high, so bring someone and plan time to enjoy; maybe not what business travellers want when they just want to “stay over.” But the price to charge an electric car was outrageous—400 kr regardless of amount. For me it would have been 10 kr/kWh, not a single car charged. Go to Gnesta swimming pool and charge for 3 kr is my tip; that really lowered the rating!

The property was very clean and well‑maintained, and the service was good. However, the garden around the lake could have been better cared for, the lake view was disappointing, and the natural scenery was hidden behind plants.

The resort is nice but a bit dated, not because of its age but due to maintenance issues, especially around the lake and dock areas. Breakfast was top quality and the place was clean. It was fine for our layover and Stockholm visit. The pool required an extra fee that wasn’t obvious or mentioned beforehand—15 € per person for two hours. Dinner was served in a tiered style; you could skip it, but the prices matched that format. The clientele didn’t seem to mind.

The surroundings were stunning and the staff were excellent and friendly. I’d recommend booking a table at the restaurant because the food was amazing.
