I was greeted warmly and the reception staff helped me with my confusion about the shower. The girl at the front desk guided me through everything herself, and I’m highly appreciative! Everything was simply great!
Shanyrak is a cozy and clean guesthouse in the center of Aktobe, just a few minutes from the train station. The staff are friendly, there’s on‑site parking, the rooms are spacious, and the kitchen is simple. The only downside is that neighbor noise can be annoying at times, and the Wi‑Fi could be more reliable. Some small amenities are missing: there’s no shampoo in the room, and a hair dryer is only available on request.
The staff were polite and made us feel at home. I recommend it.
The location is good. The tap water tastes bad, and the sewage system needs fixing, plus the window should be able to open.
