The location is fantastic, right across from the Nile. A great stop to organize trips to the big archaeological sites of Ancient Egypt like Tell El Amarna. The staff are excellent. Nothing negative.

The staff were fairly enthusiastic and polite. The hotel entrance was tightly shut; you actually had to find a small, inconspicuous side entrance, which was awkward. The soundproofing was terrible, the bathroom shower was broken and unusable. There was a hole in the middle of a bed, and I’m pretty sure the bedding hadn’t been changed; it was the worst hotel experience on the entire Egypt trip.

Taher was very friendly and extremely helpful in arranging taxis for excursions around the area.
