The location is very central, everything is reachable on foot without hassle, the staff is very friendly, and breakfast is diverse enough for everyone. The room itself is tiny, barely fitting two large suitcases, the rooms are extremely sound‑proof, and without curtains the morning light pours in early.

The place is very quiet, the room is large with a balcony, the pool is fantastic and the breakfast outstanding, the family staff are really friendly, and the beach is only two minutes away. Nothing to note.

We spent three nights at Morning Star Mirissa and had a great time; all staff were lovely and helpful, always ready with info or assistance. The pool area is amazing, the hotel is very clean and well maintained, and the beds are super comfortable. The location is fantastic and close to many good restaurants, beaches, and activities. We swam with turtles for the first time and also did a Crocodile Safari tour in Matara from here. We definitely recommend it and would love to return one day!

The room and overall hotel décor are comfortable, and the family running it is friendly. The price is somewhat high.

The place is beautiful, with stylish traditional décor featuring painted wood pieces, wood sculptures, and furniture. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was large with a modern shower, and the swimming pool was clean and pleasant. The location is very close to Turtle Beach and Coconut Tree Hill. Unfortunately, work was being carried out at the swimming pool, so it didn’t look like the picture, but I’m sure the area will be finished soon and look great again.
