“Nice room with great view and a wonderfull garden.”

The room sits in the middle of a cardamom plantation and the house is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Breakfast was good, and a great restaurant called “Chira” is about 100 m down the road. Manager Arun is a very nice person who always helped us and made sure we had everything; he’s a big plus for the mansion. It’s a bit far from everything, and because the main road is right in front of the house, it’s somewhat noisy during the day, but nothing disturbing; at night traffic is much lower.

Hidden down a quiet driveway over a small river bridge, Lush Acres is a genuinely beautiful property surrounded by lush gardens and flowers. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and there’s a lovely open‑air breakfast pavilion where the host’s mother cooked delicious home‑cooked breakfast—curries, eggs, fresh breads, and good coffee. The staff who manage the property gave us excellent local recommendations that shaped our whole time in Thekkady, including Abraham’s Spice Garden. It’s more rural than a town hotel, which is exactly the point—this is where you come to slow down. A gem.

“Peaceful and comfortable stay”

The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, with a nice view of the tea plantations. The property manager was very helpful. There’s no full‑time kitchen on site, but a good restaurant is a 10‑minute walk away. It’s a little far from the main attraction.

“Farm stay: Best place to have a relaxing staycation”

The place is in a great spot, far from the town’s hustle, surrounded by cardamom and tea plantations, and close enough to major tourist sites. The room and bathroom were clean and roomy, the breakfast tasted like home, and the staff and management were very supportive.
