Auberge Saint Pierre

The room had a very strong wood smell that made it hard to sleep, and visitors kept passing by; at night they knocked on our door. There was no lighting to go to the room, so we had to use our phone flashlights because of the stairs. We only brought a backpack for the mountain because we were told there would be many stairs, so our luggage stayed in the car outside the mountain complex.

“2 star at best, needs investment in the rooms, very expensive, you are purely paying for staying in the island so don’t”

It’s a 2‑star at best. The building hasn’t been updated for a very long time; I appreciate the buildings are old but for what the hotel charges per night, they should 100% be investing in the property. I contacted them in advance about traveling with my 78‑year‑old mother with limited mobility so they could provide her a suitable room, but instead they gave her a room in an annex that was far for her. Also the parking is advertised at €28 but the actual price is €38. It’s a 2‑star hotel at best, definitely wouldn’t choose to stay there again.

The breakfast had a varied selection, which I liked. The dinner with lobster and omelette was excellent, but the pizza was terrible. I mentioned this when paying the restaurant bill, and the staff said it depended on who made it. I’ll think about it.

L'emplacement, la chambre en elle même,la déco. Pas ou peu d'isolation phonique.heureusement que nos voisins n'étaient pas bruyants, mais nous entendions leur voix malgré tout. Au prix des chambres, les portes pourraient certainement être plus performantes.⁹
