“Vi älskar Paris och området”
The hotel’s location was good and we felt comfortable in the area, but the rooms were quite quiet and poorly insulated; the doors let in a lot of corridor noise.

The staff answered our questions politely and were friendly; however, we heard a lot of noise from the room next to ours, and the breakfast disappointed us. We arrived at 8:50 am and found no orange or apple juice—our request was denied because it was out of stock. Given the price of 200 € per night, the lack of breakfast replenishment on a Sunday at 9 am felt a bit light.

I stayed at a small, somewhat old hotel that was basic and straightforward, with decent cleanliness and a quiet room that had good bedding. The location was great, halfway between Gare de l’Est and Place de la République, and the metro stops were close by. The staff were very friendly, but the facilities were quite simple and the Wi‑Fi was unreliable, with low speeds and frequent interruptions, so I ended up using my 5G plan.

The location was convenient, the rooms were quiet, and breakfast was good, but the bathroom and shower were very small.

Breakfast was decent and reasonably priced, but the coffee from the machine was awful. After a heated discussion about the room size on the second day—since I’m claustrophobic—the desk clerk eventually found a recently remodeled room that was larger and acceptable, after initially saying nothing could be done, which left me sleepless the first night. The rooms were tiny, cold, plain, and furnished cheaply; no carpet and thin walls let conversations be heard all night. There was no heating, and open windows with no latch let cold air drift down the hallway. The bathrooms were incredibly small.
