“colazione improponibile”
The bathroom is huge and comfortable, recently renovated (I’d only suggest adding a support shelf for toiletries), the bed is pleasant and the room size is adequate. The building looks modern but shows signs of neglect; the exterior corridor walls and some interior spots could use fresh paint and repairs. Because the windows face the square directly, you can see straight into the bar below, so the curtains have to stay closed for privacy. Nothing compares to the shocking and terrible breakfast that was served. The bar underneath offered warm yogurt, hard‑boiled eggs that smelled bad, and brioche so hard they seemed days old, plus a ridiculously small selection of low‑quality items. The only thing that was decent was the cappuccino we ordered on the spot; we couldn’t eat anything else, and paying €110.00 per room for two people feels absurd. I’ve stayed all over and rarely write negative reviews, but this Italian property is a disgrace; I strongly suggest they change the breakfast format or drop it entirely to avoid further embarrassment.
