The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the food was very good and they responded immediately to requests, the rooms were clean, and from the veranda you could enjoy the view of Natron Lake. We had booked a large tent with single beds, but received a family tent with bunk beds, which was not a big deal. The real frustration was the non‑functional shower. After we complained on the first day, only the shower head was tinkered with. The explanation that the problem was outside the tent because there was no water pressure was denied. The next day the same issue persisted—no water! After seven hours of waiting it was still not fixed. We were finally moved to a small tent in the evening. At checkout the manager refused any compensation claim. The constant noise from construction all night was also annoying. It was a real disappointment.

The staff was amazing! This is probably the nicest lodge in the area. The food was excellent. The views of the lake from the pool were perfection. We really enjoyed our 2 nights here. Pro tip: hire Justin ole to be your morning guide for the sunrise/flamingos, bring a book to leave for others. Saying good bye…

The staff genuinely care about every aspect of guest comfort, from start to finish. The breakfasts, lunches, and dinners were delicious, and the team was very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable, and I was satisfied with everything.

A modest luxury experience in a remote setting: a nice pool, huge rooms, comfy beds, and excellent dining. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The fan in bungalow 205 didn’t work, but that wasn’t a problem during the cooler off‑season. Guests who are uneasy about insects and lizards might be startled by a few scurrying out of sight in the morning, but it’s an African lodge—nature is part of the experience.
