The host is the kindest person I’ve met, even though she doesn’t speak English. She uses a translation app and still manages to make everything from scratch, using local produce and dairy. The only downside is the bathroom gets soaked when you shower – a towel or a small fan would fix that. The coffee at breakfast? Not worth it.

We rode a motorbike all the way from London, just after recovering from a brain haemorrhage, and the hosts were incredibly kind. Their grandson spoke English and the whole experience made traveling feel like a joy. The only thing that could have made it even better? The goats.
