Hotel Polonia is a historic tenement house in the Old Town of Toruń, 100 metres from the Copernicus Monument and offers free Wi-Fi. It is within walking distance of the town centre and the Vistula riverfront. There is a good choice of room configurations at Hotel Polonia. All of the comfortable guest rooms have a TV and en suite bathroom. The restaurant serves breakfast. Medieval Toruń is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

The location is great. You can sleep, but the standard is average. There are no little extras like water in the room or tea. No parking. Cleanliness is decent but not obsessive. Luckily there is an electric kettle in the room. The staff are very polite. Unfortunately the breakfast is very average, with only slices of tomato and cucumber, no lettuce leaf or similar fresh vegetables.

The location is ideal, but the hotel is on a main street, so nighttime noise made it hard to relax.

The breakfast was very tasty and everyone can find something they like. The service was very friendly. The hotel is in the city centre, everything is close. My room had windows facing a big intersection where trams ran from early morning. The elevator is on the first floor, and the reception is on the ground floor. There was no tap water, even though there was a dispenser in the corridor. A 500 ml bottle could be bought at the reception for 3 zł. The hotel’s golden age is over. Towels and bedding were heavily worn (in my room one towel was completely worn, torn, and had holes, the bedding was ripped). Pet owners must be ready to leave a 500 zł cash deposit at reception for the duration of their stay. The deposit is refunded upon checkout after the room is inspected.

Hea asukoht vanalinna piiril. Vanas stiilis sisustatud hotell, kuid mugav ja nägus. Sobib hästi vanalinnaga tutvumiseks. Tasuline parkimine hotelli kõrval
