Besides being close to the sea and offering a view of Batz Island, there’s nothing else noteworthy about this hotel. It’s old‑fashioned.

The location is amazing and getting to the spa is a real pleasure, though parking can be a bit tricky.

“A pleasant enough stay, but very disappointing facilities. It just felt like a money-making machine.”
The reception was efficient, the room decent with a balcony and a nice ensuite, all very clean and housekeeping good. The restaurant and bar offer a lovely sea view and look over the land beyond, and the food is decent, though not quite as good as the website suggests. Finding the hotel is hard, lost in a maze of one‑way streets; parking is about 200 m on foot but roughly 1 km by road. Even though the hotel sits right on the shore, there’s nowhere outside to sit and enjoy the views or have a drink and relax. Service was brusque; my plate was taken away while I was still chewing. The absence of carpeting lets sound travel between rooms and from outside. The spa is presumably good, but getting to the sauna and pool is a cumbersome process; the sauna was great, but there were no cold showers or plunge pool. The swimming pool was occupied by some activity and unavailable for a while; when I finally got in, the salt water stung my face.
