Solar Maria Carolina is more than a charming lodge amid lush nature; it’s a welcoming place run by wonderful people. The owner, Maria Carolina, saved our trip by resolving an issue for us with great empathy. The day started nicely with Ana’s reception and a pleasant breakfast chat, and after spending the day exploring the area, chef Neide treated us to a delicious dinner full of creative, exotic ingredients prepared perfectly. Thank you for the excellent days we spent with you.

The lodge is wonderful. We were given extreme attention from arrival to departure and were warmly received. The breakfast and afternoon tea are exceptional, giving us the energy to visit Inhotim, which is 25 minutes by car. We dined every night, enjoying delicious Minas Gerais food. The room is great: spacious, soft bed, comfortable linens. The bathroom offers shampoo, conditioner, and soap. I had a wonderful massage with Marcela, very relaxing. Finally, the lodge is ideal for hosting children, with everything done with great care and affection. Highly recommend!

We loved everything. The lodge is fantastic, offering many cozy spots like hammocks and seating everywhere. The bathtub with a view and the super comfortable room were highlights. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty—bread, cakes, juices, cookies, yogurt. Afternoon tea was also exceptional! We also enjoyed the farm tour and all the staff, whose impeccable kindness made us feel at home. Proximity to Inhotim was our main reason for choosing this place, and a friend’s recommendation was a bonus, but it surpassed all expectations. Nothing to criticize.
