The surroundings were soothing, the host was fantastic and the breakfast surpassed any expectation; overall, great value for money and definitely worth a visit. The road had very few houses with numbers, so the easiest way to locate the house was by spotting the number on the recycling bin near the entrance.

Our host was friendly and made us feel at home, constantly checking that we were happy with everything 😌, and the house was clean as well. Nothing else to add.

The host was very pleasant and did everything possible to help us; the location was great, we were offered food in the morning and evening, and there were snacks to help ourselves too; drinks were in the fridge in the room for when we returned. All in all, it was a lovely place to stay, though it could have been a bit cleaner and perhaps some DIY in the bathroom, but nothing that would make you not want to stay here—it just needs a little TLC.

Nothing to say—because the room was filthy, the bathroom disgusting, none of the listed items such as TV, balcony, kettle, etc. were in this room; they were all communal for the entire property. Window blinds were tied with what looked like electrical wire, giving the impression of a badly run HMO that we could not stomach; the kitchen was disgusting, so we couldn’t even have breakfast. It was too late for us to book another room, so we slept in the bed, then got up early and cleared off. The room was absolutely nothing like it was described—filthy, decrepit, horrible—a total con. The bathroom was filthy and we didn’t use the shower because of the Legionella risk; never seen a shower with the screen glazing bars coated in white emulsion to hold back rust stains.
