The estate features a terrace overlooking the dam and garden, an outdoor pool, and barbecue facilities. Modern units have satellite TV, tea-and-coffee-making facilities, and kitchenettes. Breakfast is served in the dining area or on the deck. Nearby attractions include Blair Atholl Golf Estate, Sterkfontein Caves, and Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve.

Breakfast was reasonable. Shade parking for the car was good. Personal safety was very good. The hot water system is not great; we had to leave the taps/shower running for a long time before the water was hot enough to shower, resulting in a huge waste of water and inconvenience. Also very low water pressure.

The breakfast was good, and the reception on arrival was excellent. However, the front desk operator was absent when needed, and the established landline and mobile numbers didn’t answer when help was required. The wi‑fi never worked, and no one could be reached on the given numbers. There was also no welcome water.
