I interpret this as the new owners really want guests to enjoy their stay. It’s an old house, but the beds and bathrooms work. Maybe the layout was unusual, but the breakfast on the plate was good.

I stayed near the water and close to Malmköping, which was a great spot.

The beds were comfortable and the staff we met were friendly, but the room was so quiet that we could hear everything the neighbors did, even the light from their room shining into ours when we turned it off. Our door was extremely stiff to lock and it squeaked, so we probably disturbed the neighbors. The trash wasn’t emptied and the room wasn’t cleaned.

The location was good and the environment pleasant, but the bathroom was subpar with empty toilet paper and towel dispensers, an used cloth lying on the floor, and no bedside table or reading lamp by one of the beds.

The staff were very nice, but the kitchen was a bit poorly equipped.
