“dobra lokalizacja, ale standard zdecydowanie poniżej oczekiwań”
The place is great mainly because of its superb location—just a short walk to a beautiful beach and the bus stop is practically under the hotel. The apartment was spacious and the pool was clean. On the downside, we were assigned a room in the adjacent building instead of the main hotel. No housekeeping ever came during the entire week, and we had to request toilet paper at the reception ourselves. The apartment’s furnishings were old, heavily worn, and in some spots outright dirty. Kitchen cabinets were broken and ruined. A serious issue was the lack of lighting on the stairwell—after dark we had to navigate the stairs almost in the dark. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast: it was monotonous throughout our stay and the selection was extremely limited. I’ve stayed in similar price ranges on Sunny Beach for years and never encountered such weak breakfasts. Dinner was a bit better, but even there you shouldn’t expect typical Bulgarian dishes, a wide range of fruits, or seafood. The owner is very communicative and friendly, trying to build a close relationship with guests. I feel the hotel’s rating of around 8/10 is definitely inflated compared to the actual standard. Perhaps some guests, because of this very direct atmosphere, didn’t feel comfortable openly describing all shortcomings—this is just my personal guess. In short, location and pool are positives, but cleanliness, lack of housekeeping, poor equipment condition, lighting, and very weak breakfasts significantly lower the rating. For me it definitely isn’t an 8/10 property.
