“Nice and quiet”

The bedding and style were great, the room was clean and smelled nice. The shower only delivered cold water, which was an issue, and there was no kettle in the room.

“It was ok until we were treated as third class citizens when the different group arrived on the 19/12/25, our ro”

The staff were helpful and friendly, and hot water was available everywhere. Kitchen utensils were available. The yard wasn’t cleaned properly, and the cleaning happened on the day we arrived, which was frustrating. We had booked two houses; three of our group members stayed in the second house that had a swimming pool. We were told the pool was accessible to all guests, but on 19/12/25 a different group arrived and we were no longer allowed to use the pool. Oddly, that other house had no parking, yet the other group used the parking at our house and complained that we were invading their space when we wanted pool access. The owner considered it fine and never addressed the issue, even though we raised it. We were told we were overbooked, which was new to me as a regular user. I requested that the three of our group be found alternative accommodation; we were told it was done but we never received the name of the place or the keys, so we believe Cristonia house owes us one night for the three rooms of the other house. I tried to contact the owner and caretaker on WhatsApp, but they seem to be ignoring me because they haven’t responded to my last chat on 17/01/26, even though they said they would resume work on 15/01/26.
