The property was perfect for our North Coast 500 trip, located just a short drive south of Ullapool where you can experience a wonderful west‑coastal village, especially “The Chippy” at the Seaforth. The pod was quiet (despite being on a property near the road), well‑maintained, clean and comfortable. Parking was at hand and the host made us feel very welcome. Great for travellers exploring this part of the wonderful country.

We had an absolutely outstanding stay at Lochend Pods. The location is stunning, with beautiful views over the loch and gorgeous surroundings. The pod itself was fantastic. From the outside it looks like a little Hobbit house, but step inside and it's like a Tardis — surprisingly spacious and with absolutely everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It was immaculate throughout, with a spotless bathroom, and the attention to detail was excellent. We were also given a lovely welcome package from the host, including homemade bread and a bottle of Prosecco, which was such a thoughtful touch. A special mention has to go to Steve, the owner, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. We made the mistake of buying pizzas for dinner without realising there wasn't an oven in the pod. Steve very kindly cooked them for us in his own oven, and we simply went over and collected them. It was such a kind and unexpected gesture and really summed up how helpful and welcoming he was. The pod was excellent value for money and I would have happily paid more for the experience. Honestly, nothing about the accommodation or our stay. The only issue was entirely our own — we bought pizzas without checking whether there was an oven! Thankfully, Steve came to our rescue and kindly cooked them for us, so even that turned into a lovely part of our stay

Great lakeside location with a sensational view directly onto the lake. We were personally and very friendly received by the owner Steve. In the pod a homemade bread with butter and various drinks were provided in the fridge. The accommodation is delightful and offers everything you need. We felt very comfortable! ☺️

The spot sits right by the Loch, so the view is gorgeous and the location is a breeze to find. The host is warm and went above and beyond—handing out beers and freshly baked bread that really hit the spot. The pod itself is roomy and comfy, with tasteful décor. The kitchen comes fully equipped: fridge, kettle, coffee maker, induction hob, plus a range of cookware, making cooking a piece of cake. There are books, board games, and a smart TV to keep you entertained.
