“The very best stat ever!”

The couple who hosted us were amazing and a real highlight of our trip to Portugal! They were the most welcoming hosts ever, and it was a blessing to learn about their family history. They gave us the best breakfast we’ve had in Portugal, and the room was immaculate and super comfortable. We really enjoyed hearing about their grandparents and their friendship with Lucia, Jacinta and Francesco. Their faith and kindness touched us deeply.

“A highlight of my time in Portugal”

I loved the hosts—generous, hospitable, and kind. The history of the home and the breakfast—homemade apple and but cake—was to die for! I also appreciated its proximity to Blessed Lucia’s house and the well of the apparition of the Angel. I prayed the rosary there early in the morning and it was the most beautiful, peaceful experience. This is a thin place. Nothing. I loved everything!
