The location was great—right where the Transbucurești line starts—with superb views, friendly staff, and excellent food at the restaurant. I didn’t like that the rooms had no balconies; if you’re a smoker you have to leave the hotel, which is a big minus for me, and even if you’re not a smoker you still want to step outside for a bit of air.

The room was okay, but the pool water was cold—though we had called ahead and were told it would be 26°C, it was only 17°C when we arrived. The breakfast looked rich in photos but only had a few slices of salami and very poor fruit desserts.

The scenery was peaceful, the pool was clean, and everything else was great. The only downside was the distance from the train station; we paid more for the bus than for the train. Everything else was superb.

The hotel’s location was pretty decent and the breakfast was okay. I didn’t like the reception staff on the first day; every question was met with a “No.” The next day, the receptionist was much nicer and tried to help with everything she could.
