The location in Ita Thao is spot on, and the family that runs the place is genuinely kind. Even though their English isn’t perfect, they made us feel welcomed, and the homemade buffet breakfast was delicious. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it. The only downside was the shower, but that’s just because we’re used to a shower tray back in France.

Everyone was very kind, and there was an aunt who could speak Japanese. The breakfast was delicious and the room was clean. There were no negatives at all 🫶.

We stayed in a four‑person room that was spacious enough for all our luggage to be spread out comfortably. Parking required notifying the host in advance, and because the guesthouse sits right beside a main road, finding a spot can be tricky.

It was a very peaceful stay and the staff were great. The design felt a little dated, but the rooms were spotless. We were basically the only guests, which felt odd because we couldn’t see why more people weren’t staying. Still, the hotel is nice and the staff are very generous.
