The location was amazing and the staff were helpful, but the building could use some fine‑tuning.

There was only one staff member at the hotel, but he was very friendly and took excellent care of us; breakfast was served early, allowing an early departure. The furnishings and overall ambience in the outdoor area and inside the hotel are not very appealing; the first impression is unfortunately not pleasant. The doors and furnishings are a bit dated, and the view (for Norwegian standards) is not very nice, looking out onto a chimney that smokes day and night.
