The staff were fantastic. When I checked in I saw they were hosting teams for a youth hockey tournament in town, so I mentioned my concern about noise. They gave me a superb room and I heard nothing—one of the quietest rooms I've ever stayed in.

The location was good, and there’s a nice restaurant/bar right next door you can walk to. The young man at the front desk wasn’t very helpful; I asked for a ground‑floor room and he said that because I booked online he couldn’t change it without messing everything up. When I asked what time breakfast was, he gave me the wrong time and we missed it. The next day I noticed that all the staff wore matching hotel shirts, but the kid who checked me in was not in a hotel uniform, which made me think he was filling in for someone.

The rooms were very nice, comfortable, and clean. The coffee, however, wasn’t very good.

It lived up to expectations. The location is good for getting on and off the expressway.
