I was told it was open when I booked at the start of the year and the payment was automatically taken a few days before arrival, only to be told by a resident that the accommodation had closed at the end of last year. I’ve tried twice to contact client assistance for a refund and have yet to get a response after three days. I deserve at least a full refund and I’m sure I’m not the first to have this issue, as the resident said people keep coming even though the place is closed. It’s terrible that it wasn’t taken down, allowed bookings, and took money. If we had arrived somewhere small or very busy we might have been stranded without accommodation. If someone arrives later in the day, this is a very real possibility.

I arrived to find that the accommodation no longer existed; no one answered the bell and the phone number was disconnected. The sign still had several flyers from electricians dated May. I called customer support and they arranged a better place nearby and covered the price difference.

There was no accommodation at all – it was a scam!
