Check‑in service was lovely, and the breakfast buffet was good. The room was large and the bed very comfy. The location in the CBD was wonderful—Melbourne Marathon’s start line was just 2 blocks away, and bars, shopping, and cinemas were also only 2 blocks away. The spa was hot, and the pool and gym were quiet. The only downside: we were on the 7th floor and could hear music from the buffet at 5 am; it wasn’t super loud and didn’t bother us, but it was odd to hear it from so far away.
