“Left feeling unclean.”

I only stayed one night, so I’m not going to get into a lot of detail, but the place was a mess: the carpets were stained, dust and dirt everywhere, and the duvet wasn’t even lifted so I slept on top of it. There was no TV or mirror, the room was sweltering with no fan, no Wi‑Fi, and the blackboard with room details was broken and there was no number to call because the estate agent had closed. The bathroom was down the hall, with dirty used towels hanging and on the floor, hair in the sink and bath, cobwebs over the window opening, and used shower gels. The single towel left in my room was stained and had holes. The kitchen had stained cups and loose tea bags that made it unclear who’d touched them, and overall it looked like a hostel.

The location was good, but everything else was terrible—poor maintenance, dirty rooms, and no amenities.

“It was so unclean we felt dirty sleeping there. I never want to stay in a place like that again”

The location was fine, but the place was unclean, the staff at Move Inn Estates didn’t know what they were doing, there was no blind on our top‑floor window which was right above the bed, the bathroom was unclean, and only one shower gel was provided even though the information said otherwise—though we got that information three days after we left.

“Very basic. Even at this price point, I expected more; but you pay for what you get.”

It’s close to the Elizabeth line for easy access to central London, but the room was bare: just a bed, no desk, chair, lamp, or bedside table. It says there’s a washer/dryer, yet signs warn not to use them when you arrive. The locks were an issue: I was locked out of the building for two hours, the room lock was unreliable, and I had trouble getting out of the bathroom.
