It’s a unique experience compared to a standard tent, caravan, or hotel. The site is lovely and the facilities are good, and the wood‑fired hot tub adds a nice touch. However, the safari tent wasn’t ready for our 4 pm check‑in; we found the previous guests’ rubbish left behind and the beds, bathroom, kitchen, and living area were not cleaned.

The location was ideal for exploring Barmouth, Bala, and beyond. The tent was spacious, well equipped, and a refreshing change. Nothing else comes to mind.

Waking up to the stunning views of Snowdonia from a safari tent felt like a dream, and the interior was incredibly cozy; after a day of hiking, the hot tub under the stars was the perfect spot to unwind, making it feel like a luxury escape in the middle of nature. The only downside was having to leave—I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the peace and quiet.
