Lovely place, beautiful pool surrounded by plenty of plants, right in the middle of Port Coton, a meter from the harbor. The room was huge and comfortable, nicely designed and simple. Breakfast buffet was rich, varied, full of Western options. Staff were super friendly. The shower flow was strong. The room had a damp smell, common in many Indian hotels, not pleasant, but the door was left open a bit with a fan – help! The AC was a bit weak, but with a fan and a bit of patience it did the job.

We flew to Kochi with my husband, his family, and our German friends after our wedding in Bengaluru, and as soon as we stepped onto the property we were struck by its old European charm, the beautiful wooden architectural details, the spacious rooms with efficient air conditioning that was essential in the summer, and the inviting, cozy pool where we relaxed at night. The kitchen was well run, the meals were tailored to our spice preferences, and the service was highly professional. The property manager runs the hotel like a mansion, and we were thrilled to choose Killian's boutique for our stay.

The place was cheap and the room had every amenity we needed. The floor in our room was dirty, and it felt like nobody was around. The staff seemed confused about our arrival and didn't expect us, even though we booked weeks ahead. The hotel was under maintenance, which is fine, but being the only guests made the vibe odd. I wouldn't stay here again.
