“Landhotel, für die Hälfte des Preises wäre es hervorragend”
It was a solid, ordinary hotel: clean, with very good beds, spacious rooms, and practical bathrooms. The breakfast was okay, but nothing special, and there was a free bottle of mineral water. For the price you can get 4‑5 star hotels in big cities with a fitness room and a swimming pool, plus a breakfast buffet that lasts until dinner. Here there was hardly any fruit; the fruit salad had already missed its prime at least two days ago, only simple muesli without nuts or seeds, a dessert bowl with cucumber slices and the same amount of tomatoes. At €140.00 per night I expected a selection that covered more than one dining table, and I didn’t want to have to ask for every cup of coffee, even though a machine was there (self‑service was prohibited, so you had to wait until staff cleared the tables). There was also no coffee or tea in the room. The furnishings were okay, but purely practical, like an Instagram backdrop.
