The location and the welcome were good. The room is narrow and the access feels like a maze.

Everything was perfect; our room 5 had a stunning view of the harbor. The hotel is gorgeous, the staff truly friendly and professional, and the breakfast had plenty of homemade items. Nothing to note—an ideal stay.

The rustic, authentic vibe was great. It was a bit noisy, but that’s fine.

The room was huge, beautifully decorated with lovely antiques, and incredibly comfortable—fresh and clean. The private balcony offered amazing views of the harbour full of yachts, making it one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Sylvia, the manager/receptionist, was wonderful—kind, funny, efficient, and interesting—and we adored her and the cat. 10* and hugs. She truly is the hotel. The restaurant next door, owned by the hotel, served the worst steak I’ve had in 60 years, horrible chips that were a mess, and my husband’s moules were the smallest ever. Tiffany was lovely, but the food was awful—no words. I complained quietly and nicely, but she was tough. It was a miserable meal that doesn’t reflect on the gorgeous hotel and the wonderful staff next door.

The location, cleanliness, comfort, and staff friendliness were all what you expect from a night at a hotel—a respite, a restorative break without any accommodation worries. Nothing negative.
